Step into a world of sweeping music and raw emotion in this beautiful production from Northern Ireland Opera, hailed “undeniably gripping”. Tchaikovsky’s masterful score transforms Pushkin’s novel into a thrilling, heart-wrenching experience. Grand ballrooms, duels at dawn, whispered confessions, and heartbreak echoing across time.

Tatyana is a young woman brave enough to bare her soul, and Eugene is the man who walks away, haunted by what he’s
lost. Cameron Menzies directs this production, teamed with powerhouse performances from Samuel Dundas, Eleanor Lyons, Paul O’Neill, Ashlyn Tymms and Teddy Tahu Rhodes in this story of young love, deep friendship, passion, poetry, and heartbreak.

Bach’s Coffee Cantata

Bach’s Coffee Cantata and Telemann’s Canary Cantata

Two short comic operas: the award‑winning London production of Bach’s brilliantly caffeinated Coffee Cantata & Telemann’s Canary Cantata, a whimsical lament for a beloved canary.

This multi‑award‑winning London production of the Coffee Cantata reimagines Bach’s ode to caffeine as witty, stylish music theatre performed in English — a playful clash of virtue, vice, and the irresistible pull of the daily cup. Featuring sumptuous costumes by Sydney designer Elizabeth Gadsby and wigs adorned with hand‑beaded coffee cups crafted by Jane Corbett, milliner to Queen Elizabeth II and the Princess of Wales

The program also includes Telemann’s Canary Cantata — a theatrical drawn miniature in which private grief gives way to operatic indignation, and suspicion falls squarely on the household cat.
